A. Ercan Gegez is currently a professor for Marmara University, located in Istanbul, Turkey. He obtained his doctorate degree in International Marketing from Marmara University. His teaching and research interests lie in the fields of global marketing, marketing research, internet marketing and marketing ethics. He taught in various universities including Marmara University, Istanbul University, Istanbul Technical University, Balikesir University, Beykent University, Yildiz Technical University, Dogus University, Istanbul Ticaret University, Bahcesehir University, Yeditepe University, Maltepe University, Istanbul Aydın University, Turkish Air Force Academy, Turkish Naval Academy and Okan University.
